We don’t need a DAB or FM presence to reach our audience. Most of our audience don’t even own a radio. Instead we connect with electronic music fans and creators using social and smart technologies. We’re agile, relevant and the future of dance music radio.We offer a small number of freelance roles, on an ad-hoc project by project basis

🎨 Freelance Designer (Remote – UK & Europe only)

We’re Electric – the UK’s leading independent electronic music platform. From live DJ residencies to specialist shows and community takeovers, our content reaches thousands of electronic music fans across the UK and beyond.
We’re looking for a talented Freelance Designer to collaborate with us on a flexible, ad-hoc basis. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for club culture, social media design, and visual storytelling who wants to help shape the look and feel of our content.
What you’ll do:
- Design exciting, seasonal and trend-led social assets, mainly for Instagram.
- Create adaptable Canva templates that our team can re-use with show info and DJ artwork.
- Reference established club flyer aesthetics and research current design trends in electronic music culture.
- Work closely with our team, using past examples of successful and unsuccessful posts to guide your creative direction.
- Produce a set of assets that can be re-used over two 3-month content cycles (i.e., 2× 3-month batches).
What we’re looking for:
- A strong visual portfolio showcasing social or music-related design.
- Confidence using Canva (or ability to adapt designs into Canva templates).
- Interest in or connection to the electronic music scene.
- Based in the UK or Europe.
- Registered as a freelancer with your local tax authority.
This is a remote freelance role, paid per project. Exact specifications and payment details will be shared upon selection.
